About

At IQ doodle our goal is to inspire you with doodles. However, inspiration is only the first step. We of course want to inspire you to get started doodling because learning how to doodle is the first step towards becoming a better visual thinker.

When we are able to think visually about our life and circumstances, we gather more insights about the problems and challenges that are thrown our way. And with better insights we suddenly have a different perspective about our life and circumstances. Then with this new perspective we are better able to come up with relevant answers and solutions that will help us overcome our challenges.

Great thinkers throughout history have moved communities, society and in many cases entire nations forward because of their ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively. They were able to do this because of their ability to bring their thoughts to life visually on paper. Visualizing their problems on paper provided them with clarity, and with clarity came insights that helped them find the solutions they were after. You too can develop this ability and it all begins with learning how to doodle.

We encourage you to get started along your doodling journey by registering for the Beginner Doodle course. This course will provide you with the basic principles of doodling that will lay down the foundations for developing more advanced visual thinking skills down the line. But it all of course starts with a doodle. Developing confidence as a doodler could very well be the catalyst you need to open doors to new insights, perspectives and opportunities that might have previously been unavailable.

You will of course find many doodle examples at IQdoodle.com we hope will keep you motivated, focused and inspired. Feel free to download and share these doodles with your colleagues, family and friends. However, also please feel free to share your own doodles with us by emailing them through to info@IQdoodle.com.

Why IQ doodle?

An IQ doodle is the process of turning your thoughts and ideas into structured visual notes, symbols and words on paper. This process helps improve your memory and recall of the information you are listening to or learning. It also allows you to clarify your understanding about circumstances and problems you are working through. And with greater clarity of mind you are able to work through life’s challenges in more efficient and creative ways.

Because of its nature, IQ doodling allows you to present complex ideas quickly, easily and effectively. It helps you focus on the most important and relevant points using a combination of words, pictures, diagrams, graphs and charts. If you would like to learn more about the concept of Visual Thinking, then please check out the Visual Thinking Framework.

  1. Hey Adam,

I am just guessing that the picture I see of you here was 5 – 10 years ago, and the ones in the video with no hair is you now? My wife thinks it’s two different people. Will you help settle this for us.. LOL

    Thanks Ed..

And, yes.. Time to doodle for an hour..

    1. Hey Ed. Do you mean the video on the IQ Matrix Lifetime Membership page? That’s not me. I wouldn’t be able to pull off the “no hair” look as well as Dave 🙂 The shape of my head is probably not suited for “no hair” days 🙂

  2. Hi, Adam,

Thank you very much for your kind sharing and I can feel your passion and life calling on this area. I hope I can learn more of doodle.

  3. Can you describe the tools you use to create your drawings? As well as suggestions for tools for those of us using traditional paper?
    Thanks!

    1. Hi Heidi. I’d recommend registering for the 5 free lessons of the Beginner Doodle Course. There on the overview page, I go through the tools I use and offer several suggestions. If you have any additional questions after going through that information, then just let me know. 🙂

  4. Thanks, Adam. Actually I *am* registered for the full Beginner Course, but just never noticed that Overview page before. That’s exactly the info I was looking for. Thanks for putting together the course and all those videos!

  5. Hi Adam,
    I’m registered for the 5 free lessons and am tickled as well as intrigued by your program so far. I have a couple of questions;
    1. Once registered, is there a time line for access to the Beginner course. If so, how long?
    2. What currency is the cost in? I’m guessing USD but you are an Aussie! Just looking to confirm.
    3. And curious to know how long this program has been running?
BTW – I’m a fellow coach – another reason I’m particularly interested in your program.
Looking forward to hearing back from you,
    Have an amazing day!

    1. Hi Laurie. I’m happy to answer your questions. 🙂

      1. No time limit. You can work on the course at your own pace as slowly or as quickly as you like. In other words, you get lifetime access.
      2. All prices on the IQ Doodle website are in USD.
      3. The Beginner Doodle Course was first launched in 2016. It has now been running for over 4 years.

The Doodle for Self-Development Course that can be used for life coaching (or self-coaching) purposes is a newer course that was launched in 2018.

I hope that helps. 🙂 Please let me know if you have any other questions.

  7. I don’t see another place to ask a question so will try here. I’m confused by the 10 Thinking Errors Sabotaging Your Brain Doodle – because there are only 9 on the paper. What happened to the 10th (Magnification and Minimization)?

    1. Hi Tracy. There are 9 Thinking Errors on the main IQ Doodle template. However, there is an additional Thinking Error on the Doodle Cards version. These are the individual digital cards (one Thinking Error per card) that come with your purchase. I just couldn’t fit this one on the template, but still wanted to include it as part of the package. I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

      — Adam

    1. Hi Paul. There is no membership on the site. You can, however, register to receive five free lessons of the Doodle Course on the following page – https://school.iqdoodle.com/ From there, you can purchase individual courses and gain access to them.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

      Adam
